Boldness is often misunderstood. People think boldness is loud, often interpreted as unnecessary and annoying. I mean if someone was unapologetic and stubborn at a time they should be humble, I am understand that logic.
But being confident and unshakable in Christ is a different kind of boldness. Godly boldness is quieter than that. It doesn’t announce itself or compete. It doesn't seek external validation, it simply stands.
Boldness Is Born From Alignment
You don’t just wake up bold one day. It's something that you become bold through obedience. Every time you honor your convictions and follow through with your routine of discipline, you build boldness.
Scripture says, “The righteous are bold as a lion” (Proverbs 28:1). Meaning by your obedience and closeness to God, you're no longer worried about any attack or enemy getting in your way. Lions stride about with confidence that it would be a death sentence approaching them. And you too will soon realized that when your life aligns with God, fear loses its leverage.
Boldness Doesn’t Rush
The woman who walks in boldness is not impulsive. She is rooted. She listens before responding and pauses before reacting. She moves intentionally because her boldness comes from knowing who she is and whose she is.
She doesn’t shrink to make others comfortable nor does she perform to be accepted. She doesn’t abandon herself in attempt to be chosen.
Instead, she rises, assured that her hope will not be disappointed in Christ.
Obedience Builds Courage
Obedience teaches you these lessons:
You can trust yourself
You can follow through
You can survive discomfort
You can stand alone if needed
Every act of obedience deposits courage into your spirit. Boldness is the result of obedience repeated over time.
Boldness Is Gentle and Firm
Jesus was bold, and gentle. He corrected without cruelty and He loved without compromise.
When He spoke truth, it wasn't to instill fear but to share understanding. From this we can lean that boldness doesn’t require hardness.
The bold woman knows when to speak and when to be silent. When to move and when to wait. When to confront and when to release.
For the Faithful People
If you’ve been feeling a quiet strength rising in you, don’t ignore it. That’s boldness forming.
You're living proof that you don’t need to force or exaggerate it.
Just keep aligning your life with God’s will and watch boldness develop naturally. She rises because she’s ready.
🤍 Here's This Week's Prayer:
Dear God, thank You for clothing me in holy boldness. You have helped me walk with courage, clarity, and gentleness these 90 days and I pray for the grace to retain all that You've taught me in this time. Let my confidence come from obedience, not ego.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.
