The Story of Daughters of Destiny
In 2007, the first generation of Daughters of Destiny (D.O.D) ministered onto the Lord as children. With some only 5 and 10 years old, D.O.D was born within the Church of God of the Nazarene in Orange.
During those foundational years, vision was forming. A ministry was being born. Dancers were being trained, stretched, and called deeper. COGON Dance Ministry was then established in 2017 as the official dance ministry of our church home, faithfully stewarding worship within the house.
But Daughters of Destiny carried an additional call.
Same foundation.
Different assignments.
Daughters of Destiny exists now as a community-based dance ministry, equipping, mentoring, and mobilizing dancers to minister not only in churches, but across spaces and communities.
