It's been some time since I wrote my last blog post. I've been occupied with preparing for and attending an annual prayer retreat in Florida with Radio Alleluia Ministries. As always, it was an exceptional experience, but this year felt a bit different. Following my recent 40-day fast, I've been filled with an incredible sense of hope, peace, and enthusiasm. I wasn't anticipating anything specific from God, not due to a lack of faith, but because He had already answered all my prayers during those 40 days.

A week before the retreat, I chose to focus my prayers on my family, particularly my parents. I believed that if God could support me, He could also extend the grace and peace I was experiencing to those dear to me. I started praying for their marriage and relationship to grow stronger and for God's glory to be reflected through them. I began to anticipate a breakthrough for my family.

Ironically, I started receiving dreams and visions indicating there were still a few matters I needed to pray about before I could intercede for others. I believed I had covered everything during those 40 days, but I was mistaken. God indeed addressed everything I prayed for, but as the scripture says, "We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans". I had prayed for things I understood, but the Holy Spirit began to reveal things I overlooked for lack of understanding. I started praying against generational curses, including those from three and four generations back, which had been impacting my life and my parents' lives.

Ultimately, this led me to pray for my Godchildren. These spiritual laws are relevant to them as well, despite their youth and innocence. Praying in the spirit unveiled these hidden matters to me and altered the focus of my prayers. I wasn't alone in this; others who were also guided by the spirit were led to pray about the same issues. Even our Saturday workshop was entirely dedicated to generational curses, confirming what I was hearing from God.

Stay in prayer and let Holy Spirit, who dwells in you, inspire you and lead your prayers!
