Wow! The Lord has carried me through 40 complete days of fasting and praying. During the initial 3 days, I only consumed water, and I genuinely believed I might not make it. However, with the Holy Spirit's strength, I didn't miss a single day, nor did I feel the desire to. Truthfully, my heart is saddened to see this journey end, but my soul senses a transformation approaching. This is just the beginning.

At some point, I'll share the insights and lessons I've gathered over these days, but today I simply want to encourage everyone to dedicate a specific amount of time to the Lord and embrace a lifestyle of fasting. I know individuals who skip a meal once a week, and others who have just one meal every Saturday. However you choose to approach it, I urge you to give it a try and observe how God meets you in your journey and transforms your life.

Prophecy, revelation, dreams, and spiritual gift, you name it, I've experienced them all in the past 40 days. Although much of my time was devoted to caring for my god-daughter, who is staying with me full-time during the summer, even she understood when it was time to pray to join me on her knees. Explaining fasting to a 5-year-old, who wondered why I skipped breakfast and lunch with her, was interesting. However, after the first two weeks, she began telling everyone, "Nennen (which means godmother in Haitian Creole) is just not eating to pray more," and she was absolutely right. I've prayed more than ever before, and I love that my life has taken this turn towards my Father.

Keep praying, keep seeking and keep fasting, Faithful People!
