Conquering Fears, One Post At A Time

This is the life! Oddly enough, with all the delays, obstacles, and problems, this is exactly the life I prayed for. A cup of coffee, a good book, and a simple phone remind me that joy doesn’t come from more, it comes from God alone.

I prayed for Him never to leave me, and He hasn’t. I prayed for my heart to lean on Him, and every heartbeat is a hallelujah. I prayed for my plans to succeed and for the work of my hands to represent heaven, and here we are. I have a website that reflects my vision, the same one the Holy Spirit shares with me, not driven by others or the trends of the world. I have an identity firmly rooted in Christ. My life is nothing short of blessed.

But blessing others comes with sacrifice. It often means I’m never truly alone, constantly pouring out. Even Jesus, once His ministry began, was rarely alone. Well, except when He rose early to pray with the Father. That reminds me that this walk was never meant to be easy, or carried out in solitude, but it is holy. My life is an example of the Kingdom in action, and I’m honored to be a witness to God’s Word at work.

Yesterday, I shared on YouTube and TikTok about 3 fears I used to face when posting content. Whether it was videos, writing or the arts I battled the same thoughts over and over:

  1. Fear of being judged.

  2. Fear my plans would fail if I shared them.

  3. Fear others wouldn’t agree with me.

When I surrendered those fears to God, I realized they were lies. But I know for many people, those fears are still very real, hindering their display of the glory of God. That’s why I want to address them one by one, right here. Because 1 Timothy 1:7 reminds us: “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.” And Romans 1:16 calls us to be unashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I’m so grateful for this platform. If fear has ever held you back, stay tuned as I break these lies down and share how God replaced them with faith. See you soon, Faithful People!
