The Singleness Series: Learning to Steward This Season Well
I've finally done it!
I posted a long-form video on my YouTube channel, and the pilot episode of the Singleness Series is officially up and running.
Faithful People, the Lord has been telling me to do this for years. And if I'm being completely honest, my delayed obedience had a lot to do with one thing: I never wanted to be this vulnerable.
Giving biblical advice and sharing your personal testimony are two very different things. I thought this whole “leading people to Christ” thing could be done without me having to share too much about myself. I could teach the Word, encourage people, share what I've learned, and somehow keep the really personal parts of my journey to myself.
But here we are.
The Singleness Series is for the girls who want to maximize their singleness in Christ. But I also know that everyone who listens to these episodes can be richly blessed by what we are going to discuss.
And I want to be honest from the beginning, I am not an expert. My own journey through singleness has been a roller coaster. There have been lessons, mistakes, prayers, disappointments, revelations, waiting seasons, and moments when I had to take a hard look at myself and ask "Am I really trusting God with this?"
So I'm not coming to you as someone who has everything figured out. I'm coming as someone who has decided that I want to live a godly lifestyle all the days of my life.
That means in this season of singleness and whatever season comes next. And it means allowing God to shape me in every season rather than constantly wishing I were somewhere else.

Singleness Is a Season Worth Stewarding
Sometimes we talk about singleness as if it is simply the waiting room before marriage. As if your real life begins when you find “the one.” But what if that's not what God intended? What if there is fruit you are called to produce right now? What if there are things God wants to develop in you, through you, and around you that don't require a husband? What if your calling isn't waiting for a ring?
One of the questions I want us to wrestle with throughout this series is:
What does it actually mean to be fruitful?
When we hear “be fruitful and multiply,” many of us immediately think about marriage, children, and building a family. But that command is much bigger than that. You can be fruitful now. There is a call over your life that is individual and not dependent on being married or finding “the one.” And I believe we are going to discover what it looks like to cultivate that calling throughout this series.
Because the fruit God produces in your life isn't only for you. It is for the entire Kingdom.
Over the course of this series, we're going to have some real conversations about Christian singleness and what it looks like to intentionally live for God in this season.
We'll talk about things like:
Abstinence
Celibacy
Christian dating
Accountability partners
Finding “the one”
Preparing for marriage
Finances and the conversations you need to have before marriage
And, of course, how to actually maximize your singleness in Christ
These aren't just theoretical conversations. We're going to talk about what these things look like in real life. And as we go through each episode, I'll be sharing Scriptures, resources, prayers, and practical things that you can actually apply to your own life.
I think it's important to say that this series isn't only about dating.
Yes, we're going to talk about relationships.
Yes, we're going to talk about marriage.
But this series is ultimately about discipleship.
It's about learning how to steward the life God has given you. It's about holiness, purpose and identity. It's about learning to hear God clearly and obey Him, even when obedience requires us to surrender the things we really want. And maybe most importantly, it's about refusing to waste a season simply because it doesn't look the way we thought it would.
As I begin this series, I don't just want to give you information. I want us to pray. I created a downloadable Prayer Page to help us pray alongside Scripture and truth rather than emotion and deception. You can download it for free and use it as you begin your own journey of intentionally stewarding your singleness.

Let Us Pray
Father God,
We exalt Your name, magnify You, and thank You. As I make myself available to You, I pray that You would be glorified. Let each person who encounters this series submit this season of life to You. Teach us what it means to live holy lives. Teach us what it means to be fruitful before marriage, within marriage, and in every season You allow us to walk through.
You are causing the next generation to understand what it means to live a holy life, so I pray for alignment.
May repentant hearts come back to You. May we surrender the areas of our lives that we have tried to control. May we stop allowing culture, comparison, disappointment, and fear to define what this season is supposed to look like. And Lord, please restore all the years that the locusts have stolen. Use this series to bring healing, wisdom, encouragement, and transformation. Let everything that comes from this series point people back to You.
In Jesus' name,
Amen!
Your Turn
Before you move on to the next episode, I want you to think about one question:
When you hear the words “be fruitful and multiply,” what is the first thing you think about?
Marriage? Children? Family? Money? Or could there be something more?
Write it down. Pray about it and ask God what fruitfulness looks like in your life right now. And if you're willing, come along with me for this journey. You can watch the pilot episode on YouTube, and I'll be adding the written companion blogs, Scriptures, prayers, journal reflections, resources, and other tools here on my website as we go.
If you don't want to miss an episode, subscribe to my YouTube channel or join the email list here. And please share this series with someone who needs it. Because maybe singleness isn't something we are supposed to merely survive. Maybe it's something we're supposed to steward.
Coming Up
In the next episode, we're going to start getting into what it actually means to live intentionally in your singleness, and why this season has so much purpose.
I'll see you there. 🤍
